When building a HTPC, I find getting a nice looking case is always a problem! It is hard to find something that looks good on paper, and in your TV stand. I have built some HTPCs with Antec Cases, but I have always wanted to get my hands on a Moneual MonCaso case. Just look at them, they look so impressive that you almost are afraid to touch it!

Today was the first purchase we did for our basement in the new house. We went to about 6 stores and a lot of online shopping for a sofa set. This is also the first step towards my home theatre room. It was actually pretty hard to find a couch that fit our requirements, all we wanted was a sofa that had a high back so we can rest our heads when we watch TV sitting up. Eventually, we found a set at Leons, a store I have never stepped into before!

So first thing to do, move into my new home January 17, then the planning begins while the tear down of the walls and digging outside around my foundation commences. For now, here's a picture of my baby:

Windows 7 is coming officially on October 22, 2009 - it was only a matter of time before a new videocard will be released that can support Directx11. Welcome the new ATI 5800 series, or specifically the 5870 and the 5850 videocards. Both are paired with at least 1gb of GDDR5 memory, but I am sure the card manufactuerers will raise RAM as they always do. Read More »
