Interface the iPhone to a Playstation 3

iphoneps3I have been reviewing possible replacements for my trusty Motorola RAZR 2 V8 for a little while.  Not that I really need it, my phone is still great, battery life lasts five days, the voice is nice, clear and loud for when i'm outside, only a few minor scratches and the black parts are coming off on my number pad.  It is everything that I wanted in a cell phone: a good telephone.  Read More »

Logitech Harmony Adapter for PS3

The guys over an Engadget have posted a Hands-On with the new Playstation 3 adaptor from logitech that lets you use a Harmony Remote with the console.  It is a great idea, i wonder how much it will retail for, for us here in the north.  Soon the world will be able to turn on their HDTVs and Playstation3s at the same time!  They are unconclusive, because it is to early to tell if it's really working great.  You can check out the article here. How to use Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD with your PS3

PS3 Formats list
The right side of a Playstation3

When the Sony Playstation 3 was first announced in 2005, I saw it as a great all in one solution for my home theatre. When Blu-Ray was starting out, the Playstation 3 was the best Blu-Ray player to get as it was constantly updated. It was also the first "player" to officially support BD Live 2.0. I own one now, and i don't regret getting it. It has become my media center in my living room, I stream my music and videos (of all the downloaded shows i missed or didn't record on my PVR) from my computer, I watch my Blu-Rays from it, and even play the occational GTA4.

The PS3 continues to lead the way for Bluray, so it's only natural that there are guides online for the best viewing experience for watching movies.

It’s about time! Logitech Harmony Adapter for PlayStation 3

Logitech Harmony Adapter for PS3

It has been a long time coming! For all Ps3 owners, and myself included who use their Playstation3s as their Media Center there is a solution to the IR Harmony Remotes! I have the Official Sony Bluetooth remote, i like it and i don't have to point it at the TV when i want to control something, but it's bluetooth! I can not program the PS3 controls to any universal remote as they are all IR. That's one of the reasons the PS3 isn't considered a serious Media Center / BluRay player, until now... Read More »
