Nvidia’s latest GPU GT300, and it’s a cGPU!

The brightsideofnews.com has posted new information about Nvidia's upcoming Graphic Card chipset.  It is touted as the next big thing to graphic cards, a cGPU, a combination of a CPU (central processing unit) and a GPU (graphics processing unit).  What does this mean to the everyday man? Faster PCs of course.


Nvidia, in my opinion, have been very slow with an update to their GPU lines.  They have renamed graphic chipsets many times lately, from the 8800 to a 9800, and now the 9800 GTX+ is a GTS 250.  I have been waiting to see that they have up their sleave to beat ATI. The biggest change from the GT200 series to the GT300 is the new use of MIMD (Multiple Instruction stream, Multiple Data stream) in GPUs.
