MaxiumPC has posted a really detailed guide to setting up your Basic Input/Output System (BIOS).  I will admit, I haven’t realized how many features in my BIOS that is already disabled.  For example, i have SATA2 drives, and i only recently enabled AHCI to activate all of the SATA2 features.
