Tom’s Hardware tests 9 new Keyboards

The hardest part for me when it comes to creating a good HTPC Media Center is how to control it.  I haven't found a good solution yet that is worth it.  I have always liked the Logitech DiNovo Mini, but it's price is my biggest hurtle.

With the amount of time i watch TV, i didn't think it was worth it for me, plus i have my Playstation with the Sony Bluetooth remote but i strongly suggest the Logitech to anyone who is building a HTPC.

Tom's Hardware has an article with reviews of 9 new keyboards, not all are wireless, but it's interesting to see the new trend the manufacturers are following.  There are now sleek and backlit keyboards that are starting to be common place, but when i was looking a few years ago were extremely rare or expensive to find.  You can read the article here.

I'm extremely glad with my 30$ Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard for my desktop PC, it's sleek, small, and has laptop type buttons. It is also great for gaming, but no back light.  For my Media Center, i have a the Dell Bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse.  It's an okay kit, the keyboard is a full size, so not extremely portable, but for the price i paid i have yet to find anything comparable: 40$!  I went with this kit because i am close to 20 feet from my TV, and only 2.4ghz or Bluetooth technology can go the distance.
