Windows7 engadget review – how did I miss this review…

Windows 7 FishThis is a pretty comprehensive review of Windows7 from engadet here.  I like to read it, get other people's oppinions on it and see if I agree or disagree.  I suggest everyone do the same, after the sour taste people have from Vista, Windows7 is a welcome change from Microsoft's OS.

I have Windows7 RC1 on my laptop, but i'll be trying a RTM version I found online for 29 days (on the 30th, i'll need to activate it) and i'll write a short review and give my oppinions soon.  I will be eager to try if the Blu-ray playback is available from Windows Media Player, how the UI has changed from the first beta and other features.  I know that Windows7 will come with some touch screen features that trickled down from their Microsoft Surface, but how many people have touch screens? I am assuming it is not on their priority lists, so the features are scarce...

My biggest problem with Vista is the slow network and transfer speeds of files from one hard disk to another. I understand why it is slower compaired to WindowsXP, but i heard it's a lot better, so i will be eager to test that out on my network!

Be sure to check out Engadet's review of windows7 here.  There is also the Windows 7 Media Center here from EngadetHD.
